So…bosses dead. We hadn’t touched Reliquary of Souls in 3 weeks or so due to vacations, recruitment, etc. and last night we walked in to play after downing Archimonde. It took us 2 attempts and win to down the joke of a boss boss (I think we’ve attempted RoS less than any boss aside from Akama) and then decided to press on to Mother at an ungodly time of the morning. 4 or so AM server time and about 5 or 6 attempts later, we decided to quit and get some sleep. We ended the night with 4 attempts under 4% (4% twice 2% twice) and knew we had it in the bag if we could only get some sleep first =P

Next day we walked in and enjoyed an easy 2 or 3 attempts to down Mother. It was the first time seeing the boss for all our raiders aside from the ones who accompanied us the night before so congrats to everyone on an easy kill. After Mother, we decided to move in to see what to expect from Council and to say the least, Council will pose no issue for us either. Several 60%+ attempts later, we pinned down what we needed to do to drop Council and decided to call it an early night due to the late night several raiders put in on the previous night. We will see Council & Illidan tomorrow.

Just to update…
We are still dropping Archi, still droppin timed ZA, still doin the damn thing. We just dropped RoS, and Mother is guaranteed. Going for Council & Illidan this week. Let it be known that I am focusing pretty heavily on recruitment this week and the next. The post looks a little somethin’ like this for those who have not seen it….
♣♣♣ Immortal Seeks Serious Raiders Hyjal | Black Temple | Sunwell ♣♣♣
Immortal Legacy is the fastest progressing end game raiding guild on our the server and is seeking skilled and loyal players for end game raiding progression.
Currently, in 4 months, we have gone from Kara gearing to 5/5 Hyjal 7/9 Black Temple since creation. We are now in the retard check section of progression content and lets just say not everyone can be trained to succeed at some of these fights. So it is now necessary to go out and seek individuals who feel they are right for a spot on our Core 30 and want to progress in end game raiding.
We are retardedly fun group of individuals who are kicked back and quick to make a joke about anything but we do take raiding seriously. Those who do not take raiding seriously, don’t last long or will eventually be removed when a better replacement comes along. This is a guild that will not stop improving it’s ranks until Kil’jaeden drops and WotLK rears it’s ugly head.
I do want to warn individuals that this guild is not for the sensitive types who take offense at any form of criticism nor is it a guild for individuals who have attitudes and assume everything is personal. Maturity with a toleration for twisted humor is almost a requirement worth mentioning.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
We are currently seeking the following classes and specs…
1x Elemental Shaman*
1x Resto Shaman*
1x Warlock*
1x Resto Druid*
1x Holy/SP Priest*
*subject to change
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
We raid 5 days a week at this time. Those days are Tue-Sat at 8:30-12:30CST. Please go to the recruitment link in my signature and follow the Apply Here links for more information on the inner workings of our guild, the requirements to join, so on so forth. I am only seeking individuals who can meet these specific raid times maintaining an 85%+ raid attendance.
Wish you the best of luck in finding your new guild,

We managed 3 new bosses in one raid week. Aiming for a minimum of 2 this week. The progression train is full speed ahead now that recruitment is officially no longer a top priority. We are always looking for more dedicated and skilled players but at least now we can down bosses with a proper raid composition instead of killing Teron with over half the healers being either druids or paladins. Dedication and loyalty are 2 or 3 main ingredients for successful end game raiding.

Some would say that’s too much to ask for these days or that you can’t get that because those types of people are already guilded. I said and say bullshit because you can see what Immortal Legacy has accomplished in my short time back in WoW. Any guild can accomplish end game raiding when you have the right people sharing a common goal.

5/5 Hyjal

Archimonde Down. Managed to down him without the ideal raid make up, one person short, and two deaths through out the entire fight. Moved on to start pre-clearing BT for our next run at progression through the temple. RoS, Mother, and Council incoming.

We are currently working on Archimonde & progressing through BT. Soon to finish resist sets and take down Mother. I’ll update more later as needed.

To Immortal members,
I want to congratulate all of you Immortals on being the fastest progressing guild on Alleria. You guys should be very proud of all the accomplishments you have made in literally no time at all. A lot of you went from never have been in SSC/TK to one shotting Hydross, Tidewalker, etc. on our very first attempts when most guilds who were in their first month of T5 progression would skip such bosses to down for the easier ones. Maybe one or two of you had ever seen T6 content (on other characters) and we now have all the Hyjal bosses, minus Archimonde, on one shot farm which equates to 2-3hrs of effort. There’s a lot to be said in that considering the gear level we accomplished most of this in.
You all are 3 weeks ahead of what I projected which says a lot considering the high standards I set out for this guild to accomplish during its creation. However, keep in mind we have a lot of work to do still. Fast progression is one thing, skill is another. If we want to compete with the best, be prepared to fine tune your skills and understanding of how mechanics work and how to utilize them to optimize our performance as a raid. A monkey can learn to follow instructions but it takes pros to develop the strategy that everyone else uses.

To those tracking our progression and Alleria in general,
We went into BT for the first time tonight and downed the first two bosses, High Lord and Supremus. We’ll be going in again tomorrow to take down the next three in order. We are well on track to seeing Illidan in only 4 nights of being in BT as I projected, maybe even less? We shall see…
Anyhow, our progress pales in comparison to what Warr has accomplished with Premonition in the short amount of time Sunwell Plateau has been opened to WoW players. Congrats on obtaining the US first rank and taking Alleria higher than it’s ever been. With the effort put into obtaining it, it was well deserved. Make sure that rank is kept polished and clean, I want it in “premo” condition when we take it.

Hyjal 4.5/5
So we got by Azgolar, as I said we would, without any issues. In fact, we fought Azgalor and an Abomination that added in at 60-70% (he was hiding in the back killin’ peasants so we decided to leave it alone until it aggro’d). We took it upon ourselves to take a couple of those half asleep attempts at Archimonde before calling it and all I have to say is, “We have this, no problem”. We’ll go back into Hyjal on Wed. for a three or four easy kills before starting our clearing to Illidan on Thursday.
All in all, I projected a 2 month “get up on our feet” period and instead, we’re doing Archimonde. Oh and with people who have little to no raid experience none-the-less. Careful recruitment, good leadership, and weeding out the people who bring nothing to the table = progression. It’s all about having a core group of people with dedication, loyalty, and small gap between duration of learning and the resulting progress. Congrats Immortals.

Hyjal 3/5 until Monday
So with dropping Rage Winterchill, Anetheron, & Kaz’rogal, we are left with Azgalor and Archimonde. Azgalor will be dropped, no doubt about that, leaving us with our prize. No where to run, no where to hide, we take Archimonde head on come Monday before our week of Black Temple commences.
Our first SSC instance = 4/6 by choice
Haven’t bothered updating SSC due to the fact we skipped Tidewalker to play with Vashj after slaughtering Fathom-lord. Vashj is progressing nicely and all kinks have been worked out in our few attempts on her last Wednesday which led to several cores being downed. So this Tue/Wed we’ll be taking on all the token droppers in SSC/TK (We’ll throw Tidewalker in this time just so we can say 6/6 SSC after dropping Vashj).
April 6th, 2008 -- Posted in Guild Update |
It was decided that SSC/TK need to be done seeing as we don’t want to skip any content and have a full list of bosses downed for record/rank keeping purposes. With that in mind, we went in for the first time as an Immortal Legacy raid on SSC with the intent to down some bosses before our week of Hyjal raiding begins. We started off with 1 shotting Hydross followed by downing Lurker & Leo the Blind. We’ll be going into SSC again on Monday to down the remaining three bosses before going back into Hyjal.
We are looking to finish up our Core 30 recruitment. A few spots still remain open in recruitment despite a lot of interest in the positions until they are officially filled. If you feel you are right for the spot, hit up the Recruitment link to the right of the page. Good luck.

So we decided to take a peak into Hyjal and see what the guild could accomplish as it was our first “official” raid together. We walked away with killing Rage Winterchill and several other pieces of loot before leaving. We decided to give Anetheron a shot in the dark and managed to drop him quite a bit w/ a half assed attempt and a fury warrior tanking infernals. At any rate, it was a fun run and a good glimpse at wall we’ll be hitting head on next week when we go into Hyjal with the intent of getting to Archimonde.

All the people who died in the video either forgot their trinket and/or learned why they need to have it. GG nubs
