Recruitment and Progress

So far we’ve gotten something like 22 Drakes from 10 man Ulduar, and are also progressing quite nicely through the hard modes in 25 man Ulduar. 

I dont know about the rest of you, but I’m sure glad they added achievements to this game.  Without them the raid zones would be really really boring.

As far as recruitment goes, I’m looking for:

• Arms Warrior
• Resto Druid

Previously posted slots have applicants in them that look like they will be filled.  Keep putting those apps up though, you never nkow when someone will get the booterang.

Heartbreaker

Hearbreaker is Down…..  No one has posted a SS yet, or something pretty would be below this.  Instead, I’ll list the 2 classes/roles we are looking for hardcore….

I am in need of an Elemental Shaman, and a Prot Warrior.  If you are either of these classes/roles post up an app and we’ll be in touch.

Right now as a guild we’re just waiting on Immortal to happen.  Its the last achievement we need for Heroic:  Glory of the Raider.

Kalecgos Dead

So after 4 nights of practice and getting used to portal rotations, Kalecgos falls to a 24man raid. Sadly, I again had to witness a first behind the eyes of my healer instead of my warrior but that doesn’t make the minor victory any less comforting to those who put the time in.

Brutallus is a joke of a fight and will pose no barrier for us but will have to wait until next week as we have a few other lose ends to tie up. We’re all looking forward to Felmyst & beyond. Youtube and high quality version of the video is available here on the forums.

Kalecgos Round 3

So our Kalecgos ‘learning’ week ended with Round 3 (day 3) going to Kalecgos but not without a great fight. We have managed to force the enrage by getting both bosses associated with the fight below 10%. The fight is in our pocket but we’ve decided to push the old gay content until next week’s shots @ both Kalecgos and Brutallus.

Continuing to fix and perfect

Ok, after a few hic ups & some good recruitment, things are on the up & up with a few critical areas that still need to be worked on.  One shotting Illidan for the first time tonight was a nice addition to our one shot list but it also indicates that it’s time to move forward.  Time for Kalecgos…

On the verge…

So we’ve downed Illidan repeatedly since our first kill which took us 3 and a half days of practice to work out. The only thing that could make downing all of Hyjal & Black Temple more enjoyable is seeing progression in the way people handle themselves on raids. Focus, discipline, and ability to deliver consistent performance are all things that will launch us to the next level of raiding which is more important than any one boss going down. We’ll continue to perfect our raiding core in preperation for WotLK which is this guild’s main focus.

I need to update this fucking thing some more, I understand =) Look forward to Sunwell bosses dropping this week which will bring me more reason to update things on a more frequent basis.

4 Months 9 Days from Kara farming to pre-Sunwell game cleared, only 3 Months and 6 days from our first official guild raid.

13 Bosses in 3 Days

So for the third week in a row, we’ve downed all 13 bosses up to Illidan.  Last week we got our first trial of attempts in on our day off and almost got completely through 2nd phase which is the majority of the fight.  This week, we stepped it up and downed all 13 bosses in 3 nights with time to spare.  This leaves us with 2 raid days and Monday to make sure he goes down.  Should we drop him tomorrow, which is very likely, we’ll be entering our Kalecgos & beyond phase.  Great job everyone, lets aim for 2 day full BT/HJ clear next week!
